Frequently Asked Questions

  • Podcasts that focus on public affairs, public policy, government, public administration, or related fields are eligible.

    Podcasts must be produced by associations, agencies, or organizations that work in public policy, public administration, or association management.

    Podcasts produced by or in collaboration with an agency or vendor are eligible, but should be submitted on behalf of and in the name of the client.

  • To qualify, podcasts must have published at least 6 episodes between January 1 and December 31, 2025. If the podcast’s first episode was released on or after September 1, 2025, the podcast must have published at least 4 episodes in 2025.

  • Submissions are limited to organizations or individuals based in the United States.

  • Podcasts must be produced in English.

  • Submissions will be accepted beginning February 2, 2026. The last day to submit an entry with a discounted fee is March 6, 2026. The last day to submit an entry is April 3, 2026.

  • There is no limit to the number of entries you may submit or the number of categories you may enter. However, you may enter only one show per award in each category.

  • Each submission must include:

    • One episode in .MP3, .MP4, or .WAV format

    • Podcast cover art

    • Provide timestamps for 15 minutes that best represent the episode

    • A brief synopsis describing the show’s purpose, target audience, and impact

    • Provide production credits for everyone involved in the podcast

  • Once a submission has been finalized and submitted, changes cannot be made. Please review all materials carefully before submitting.

  • Podcasts should be submitted to the category that best reflects the show’s primary focus and audience. If you’re unsure, we recommend reviewing the category descriptions carefully and selecting the most appropriate option.

  • All submissions are judged by a panel of judges; there is no public voting.

  • The opinions of individual judges will not be disclosed to awardees.

  • Winners will be announced the week of June 1.

  • Submission fees are non-refundable.

  • Discounts are not available for multiple submissions.
